ETSÄ-RACE; ETT INTERNATIONELLT ELEVLOPP
ETSÄ-RACE 2023
Fyra skolor tävlar i ETSÄ-race:
- Finland: Kaustinen Raviopisto
- Frankrike: Ecoles des Courses Hippiques (Ecoles des Courses Hippiques består av fem campus: Cabriès, Gouvieux, Graignes, Grosbois, Mont-de-Marsan).
- Norge: Norsk Hestesenter
ETSÄ race in english
Race with drivers from four countries
In October 2008 the first ETSÄ race was held at Solvalla race track. Since then the race has rotated between Finland, France, Norway and Sweden. In 2019 the ETSÄ race visited Vincennes in France for the second time. On November 7, 2023, it is time for Sweden again at the Östersund race track.
The race is part of the cooperation and activities within the ETSÄ-organisation. ETSÄ (European Trotting School Association) was founded in 2007. Since 2009 there are four member organisations AFASEC (France), Kaustinen (Finland), Wången (Sweden) and Norsk Hestesenter (Norway). Apart from the race there are other joint activities such as learner and staff exchange, the European qualification for stable staff (EQUES), DIME-projects etc
In the ETSÄ race there are three drivers from each partner organization making a total of 12 drivers. Normally the apprentices arrive to the country which arrange the ETSÄ race a couple of days before the race. It’s a fantastic possibility for the apprentices both to visit and race in a new country and a great opportunity for them to learn about the method of working in other countries.
